Thanks AlexanderZ for the rapid answer. I can't create the .scm file, I tried with Notepad and MicrosoftWord. Do you also know how I can set non constant properties? In my case most of the properties are polynomial of the third order. Thanks

Best regards,
Michele

Go to Materials - > create/edit -> user-defined database -> set the name of your new library (any name) -> create one? Yes -> copy materials from case -> select materials, that you want -> Copy -> Save

its my first time to ask and I saw a lot of replies for you Mr AlexanderZ, I know my question is trivial, but how to write the user defined database material file containing material properties as a polynomial function of pressure which is a udf also for pressure inlet
Thanks in advance

to can define pressure dependent material properties using udf
define_property macro
however, as far as I know specific heat cold not be pressure dependent take it into account
macro for specific heat is DEFINE_SPECIFIC_HEAT

for more information and example read Ansys Fluent Customization manual
