Hi,

every time i try to subtract the wing from the enclosure i got an error message saying: Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies ...
is there any idea i can fix with with it this problem ?

Hello Synchronous,

I think the problem is due to surface/solid bodies.
To solve this issue you need to fill inside of the surface bodies and then you should delete the surface bodies. (You will have a solid body.)
After that solid/solid operation won't give you any errors and you can perform the boolean feature.

Thanks for replying bro ,

i already done what you said bro and redraw the wing as a solid body , but the problem is that i don't get the same lift and drag coefficient i have from my calculations , i already manufactured a small airplane from scratch with design calculation but the lift and drag i got from the ansys don't match my calculation so i need to insert the wing with rips ..

I think you mean the ribs ? And the problem with surface body is that there is no thickness in surface body as its name. But you can already build it with ribs as a solid body ( since there will be thickness). I hope that is a bit more clear.

In your parts you still have the Surface Body. Click those 2 parts and give them some thickness. You can see Surface body and Solid body in your part section, Design Modeler can't handle the boolean opearation. You can send me the geometry if you can't do the operation.
