Hi all
I am new in using fluent transient simulation. I tried to use convergence conditions on the solution that are based on the values from surface, such as velocity at specific point, to achieve the convergence at each time step and move on to the next step but I could not do that. I appreciate your help ! |

The convergence monitor doesn't work that way for transient simulations.
For transient simulations it's checking the solution vs time-step, it's meant to be used for checking if you have achieved steady-state. You can't use it to check convergence within a time-step. Unfortunately such a feature doesn't exist in Fluent built-in. |

thanks for your reply.
Is there a chance to do this by using UDF? regards, |

Hi lma80,
Did you achieve to do that? I need to do it also. Thank you in advance for your reply. Kant |
