Hello to all
I'm trying to model a ship hull which is consist of one main hull and two side hulls as you can see in the picture: the side hulls should be fixed relative to the main hull, they aren't allowed to move independently! So my question is how to setup up the six-dof solver to achieve the desired motion without explicitly connecting the side hulls to the main hull? The side hulls should have the same motion as the main hull. I think one approach is to put all of them (main hull + side hulls) in one boundary zone and then create the dynamic zone for it! But is there any other way to setup the problem in Fluent without putting them in one boundary zone? Best wishes, D. Khazaei |
