Hi everyone,
I wish to ask how or where can I learn in details about how to write batch mode commands for Fluent on Linux. I need to write a .jou file containing these commands to do simulation on a cluster. The most important instructions I wish to know are how to initialize from the inlet and patch parts of the domain. Thank you very much. P.S. I have gone through the Fluent manual but didn't get much information on it. What I learnt just are sth like 'rc' 'it' 'wd' '/solve/initialize/initialize-flow'. |

For patching, you do /solve/patch A list of TUI commands is available in the manual: Text Commands List except it does not give you much information for what prompts will pop up, because it's too problem dependent. Eventually you just need to try it. You can use the TUI commands on any OS (Linux or Fluent), so you may want to try it on your own machine to see if your commands work before letting it run auto. |
