Hello everybody,
I'm working on determining drag & lift coefficients on a FSAE racing car , and I'd stuck with , how to setup the setup cell in fluent ? How can I capture the effect of turbulent flow and B.Ls ? there are the .step file for the CAD model and a .wbpj after meshing , http://www.mediafire.com/download/cs...ob8zl/V_01.rar , for anyone interested in this problem and wanna helping me handling my aforementioned issue . Best regard . |

Hey Ahmed
I saw that you created face sizing mesh for the box that surrounds the car , you should create a body sizing mesh for your influence box instead.you might also need to consider creating inflation layers on the car body face to have elements on that boundary that follow the direction of the flow in order to ensure that you have meaningful results. |

First of all , thank you for your interest .
You are right , I'm working now on re-meshing this model again using your workflow . But , the issue is , how can I setup the solver sitting by using fluent solver , to get a meaningful results for drag & down forces coefficient ? Best regard . |

Howdy , scipy .
You know , I've watched your video tutorials almost a year ago . It helped me alot how to start dealing with the GUI of ANSYS' different packages . I've worked with you step by step , Then I've found on the web ANSYS training files tutorials , which continued my leaning journey of ANSYS . Thank you for your generous spirit , my friend ! |
