ANSYS Fluent temperaure correction

Until today I am aware that ANSYS Fluent doesn't do enthalpy calculation or correction if one sets up pure species mass source terms in a volumetric layer, which leads to an un-realistic temperature profile to be predicted.
Do you know that? If yes, what can you do when you add a mass source (sink) terms ? A correction UDF for enthalpy change due to any mass source or sink terms needs to be developed before a right simulation can be done. Please advise! Thanks. |
