Just transitioning to Ansys, so this might be a basic question with an easy answer.
How do I turn off file compression when saving data files, when running a calculation using Workbench? gzip is taking >30 minutes each time a file is saved, since I have large files and it is working on a single core. Thanks - Jon |

In case anyone else has this issue... from Ansys support:
The compression cannot be speeded up by running it on multiple processes. You can turn off the compression via a scheme file with the below contents. (set! wb-get-compress-suffix (lambda () "")) To run this, in WB, right click on the FLUENT Set-up cell, and select "register startup scheme file". Select the file you created above. This will tell WB and Fluent to not compress the files |
