Hello FLUENT-ers
I'd like to ask you if there is some possiblity to plot contours of blending function F1 in FLUENT or CFD-post? I'm doing some literature overview how to check mesh quality for scale-resolving simulation (SAS model) as a part of my Ph.D. thesis. I've found that some authors, e.g. http://www.researchgate.net/publicat...le_spray_dryer, showed spatial distribution of the blending function to see where SAS falls back to RANS solution and where not. However, they've done this in CFX From this point, seems like it's a know-how of the authors. Is it possible to simply plot contours of the blending function F1 or some UDF needs to be written to plot it? Thank you a lot for any answer Regards Miloslav |

Yes, i've already solve it. You have to turn it on via TUI. Unfortunately, I am on vacation and I don't remember the command. I will be back in office next monday. I will post it as I return.
By that time, you can try to google it. Should be something like: /solve/set/expert and then some yes and no commands. Good luck |

Hi Ofcozz,
I finally came back to my office and posting here part of my journal which turns on the possibility to plot blending function. Bellow is the TUI command which works fine without any problems for me. You can find it under contours / turbulence Good luck with blending functions ; Turn on blending function /solve/set/expert/ n y n |
