Hey Guys,
I concern with dpm combustion. I write an udf to define my own dpm laws. I need to access the mass fractions of my dpm species. I did not find a method to solve that problem. Is their anybody, who faced the same problem and may help me? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
Have you solved your problem? I am facing kind of similar problem. I want to access the particles species mass fractions in the UDF. I haven't found any variable for that. Thanks in advanced. Regards: MAC |

Hi Mac,
yes, I solved the problem. For combusting particles you cann only access the mass fractions of char, volatiles etc. You can find the macros in the help. If you have additional species you need to define them as a scalar or you have to use multicomponent particles. For multicomponent you can use TP_COMPONENT_INDEX_I to identify the particle species. regards |
