Hello,
Im new here. I would like to ask few things about FLUENT (doing my research using FLUENT) 1) Whether FLUENT have capability to generate blast wave (FSI) 2) I want to do review paper on blast wave using FLUENT but i cant find any papers on that. If some of you have done review papers or journals on blast wave using FLUENT? Thank you |

An explicit dynamics code such as ANSYS AUTODYN would be typically used for blast waves. Fluent might be able to solve it too, but it's probably not the most efficient way to solve a blast wave. I'm not sure where FSI comes up, but AUTODYN has good FSI capabilities.

Thank you sir for the information.
I do find lots of simulation using AUTODYN/LS-DYNA. but I need to used FLUENT in term of simulation needed (got license). If there any chance I can communicate with that using FLUENT for blast wave propagation? |
