Hallo to everybody!
Since I didn'd find this information, iI create this post to share with you my knowledge My question was: How to change boundary condition from command? To change a bondary condition for example from wall to pressure outlet you have to write in command zone: /define/boundary-condition/modify-zone/zone-type after select teh id or the name of the boundary that you want to change, press "enter" and write the tyoe of the new boundary type (pressure outlet in the example) After my other question was been: Ok! It works! But how to set an UDF in the pressure outlet boundary from command? The answer is simple. You have to write this command: /define/boundary-condition/pressure-outlet Now you have to answer to the question and select your UDF file, being careful to put the UDF file name between inverted commas (example "udf_name") Enjoy! |

creating periodic bc is also possible by: mesh>modify/mp and entering the IDs of the corresponding zones |

Thank you for you help.
I have a more complex problem: if there are 4 udf, how to choose among them? profile names list: ("udf" "udf" "udf" "udf") If I wrote "udf", I received the error message from Fluent. I'm trying to change the profile names bu I didn't find how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thank you! |

what is "profile names list"?
1. put all your UDF into 1 file, specify different names and recompile or 2. rename compiled folders (udf1, udf2, ...) best regards |

Thank you for your reply.
I already did it. I have 4 udf in one file each with its name. But fluent recognizes as "udf" all of them. What do you mean with "rename compiled folders (udf1, udf2, ...)"? Thank you in advance. Best regards |

I solved the problem with the newest version that recognizes the udf name.
Thank you. |

Hello everyone, I have a problem with one inlet and about 100 outlets. What is the quickest way to define these outlets without manually doing it?
