yuyuxuan is on a distinguished road
I give the simple case of flow around a cylinder with 3D.

And I have the dat and cas.

First, I save the "crosscylinder.txt" as
Code:
rc 3dcross.cas
rd 3dcross.dat
solve/set/ri 1
file/auto/data 100
solve/set/time-step 1.0e-3
solve/dual 3000 30
exit
yes
and then I save the "nodes.txt" as
Code:
node1
node1
node1
node1
node1
node2
node2
node2
node2
node2
node3
node3
node3

node8
node8

node9

And finally I enter the command:
Code:
nohup fluent 3d -g -t40 -cnf=nodes.txt <crosscylinder.txt >& run_out.txt &
Then it runs, I close the ssh but after a while, I reopen it and find strange it has done. I open the run_out.txt

it shows

Code:

No data created and errors with "Emergency: received SIGHUP signal"

PS1: I use the "LES" and "simplec with standard pressure"

PS2: I have seen the http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/fluent/40133-error-while-running-parallel.html, but I manually give the nodes like the "nodes.txt" . why it also happens? And I want to ask in this thread but it may upset forum order because it was asked in 2010. So I ask again in my working conditions.

Thanks for looking and need help
