Applying heat flux at mesh/wall interface for a solid-fluid heat transfer?

I have made the model such that the fluid is flowing b/w two solid slabs as shown:-
______________________ solid 1(glass) ------------------------- <--mesh interface fluid -------------------------- <--mesh interface(with heat flux) solid 2(insulator) _______________________ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ <--insulated boundary I made the model in solid edge and exported geometry into meshing software.I named the interface walls as WALL-SOLID-1, WALL-SOLID-2, WALL-FLUID-TOP, WALL-FLUID-BOTTOM and meshed the geometry using default options.then i exported *.msh file into FLUENT and used mesh interface option FLUENT to couple the walls, but to do so I had to convert these walls to interface. Now I have to apply heat flux at interface b/w WALL-SOLID-2. and WALL-FLUID-BOTTOM.Could someone please help me, how to apply this heat flux? Any help is appreciated |

physically those two are not Interfaces, those two are walls, if you give wall boundary condition fluent automatically generate wall shadow, At wall boundary you can give heat flux in thermal tab. |

i have already tried it, but some reason Fluent is not generating wall shadow

hi, I solved the problem by converting the heat flux into equivalent heat generation and then providing this heat generation at the interface
