Hi,
What is difference between flash evaporation and cavitation ? can i apply cavitation model for flash evaporation ..? Thanks in advance... |

Hello svenki7,
I see that this post is quite old, but I am wondering if you had any answer regarding your questions? I think that the cavitation and flashing formation processes are the same ( vapor generation due to pressure drop), but the cavitation bubbles eventually collapses and come back to the liquid phase, while flashing is a complete phase change from liquid to gas. did you try to apply the cavitation model to your flashing problem? did you get any results? thank lionel |

yes it is possible to use Zwart Gurber cavitation model to simulate flashing using ANSYS FLUENT |
