Hello,
I'm trying to run Fluent on my computer. I have installed a valid academic version of ansys 14.5.7 downloaded from their internet site, i have a valid license from a server machine but I have a problem to launch Fluent from workbench. I can use Design Modeler and make the mesh but when I click on the setup button to launch Fluent, it crashes and I get the following message: Quote:
Besides, the program CFD-Post does not launch (either from workbench or from start menu) and I get the following message: Quote:
Could someone help me please? Thank you |

Hi NickyNac.
I get the same error with CFD Post. Have you resolved the problem?

Hi Mich_k,
I am sorry but I did not find any solution. I suspected the firewall or the antivirus or an outdated driver but nothing worked. The customer portal could not help either. I had to use another computer. |

On Windows7 you should update the system via Update Center. I didn't perform updates since 2012, and it have resulted in 197 updates installed just now. Now, the connection to FLUENT from WB works! (works, at least for ANSYS Student v 16.2 ) |
