Hi,

I'm trying to set FMG inputs in fluent command console, and it gives me invalid command error.

> solve/initialization/set-fmg-initialization
invalid command [set-fmg-initialization]

do you know why?

I think you need a slash between set and fmg-initialization.

solve/initialization/set/fmg-initialization

The command is right, but the problem was from solution initialization.
I restart the fluent and in solution initialization, by redoing the "initialization"...the command the same as I mentioned was working...

I think you need an exsiting solution to make that fmg initialisation work. Apart from that, using fmg initialisation sometimes cannot drop residual more than 3 orders in my 3D external flow cases. So be careful of it, I find hybrid initialisation is somewhat good enough.

Same problem for me on Fluent 17.1,

sol ini hyb
sol ini fmg

Tested on 17.1

As a caveat- It depends on your mesh and sometimes causes the whole thing to crash. Secondly it doesn't work with a transient solver. Anyone know why it can't handle a transient solver setting?
