Hi all!
I'm quite new to combustion modelling and after a search through data for biomass properties I have been stuck with the following issues: 1. Most data seems to be bulk density (~400kg/m3), Fluent needs specific density doesn't it (i assume which would be in the 1000kg/m3 range)? 2. Do i assume that latent heat is zero for a combustion case? 3. How do I determine stoichiometric ratio? 4. Can I assume heat of reaction for burnout to be the same as that for coal? Thanks so much for any help anyone can give! |

I'm not familiar with Biomass simulations, you may want to go to www.ansysforum.com, they have some experienced members that might be able to help you out.
Good luck |
