Hi all,

I am simulating heat transfer from a cylindrical source immersed in a rectangular cavity and I am trying to find out how can I write a UDF in order to have thermally stratified layers with linear distribution of temperature in the upper half of the tank domain at the initialization of the simulation.

Does anyone know on which terminology I should focus or does anyone have a similar code I can consult?

Thanks

I finally did it but for thermal stratification throughout the whole domain, not the half as I though I needed at the first place...
However it can be easily changed for any part of the domain...

If anyone is looking for something similar have a look on this thread of mine.
