UDF- how to look up a dynamic thread (urgent help)

hi all,
i am writing a UDF in which i need to access the CG velocity of a different dynamic zone for which i need the dt that is the dynamic thread of that zone. please tell me if there is any macro like Lookup_Thread which can give me the dt. If there is no such macro then how to access the velocity. Please please please help i am stuck Thanks a lot in advance itoa |

Use THREAD_DT(thread), it converts a thread into a dynamic thread.
Exactly the opposite of THREAD_DT(dynamicthread), which converts a dynamic thread into a normal thread. It's funny that in the Fluent UDF guide (at least the one from 2013 I have) the macro THREAD_DT(thread) appears just once and only in an example. Maybe they don't want us to use it XD |
