Compile UDF in Ubuntu

Can someone please tell me how to compile UDFs in Ubuntu? I had compiled the UDF in windows using Visual Studio and it was working fine but I needed to switch to Ubuntu as my cluster has Ubuntu installed in it. After a very long struggle I was able to run FLUENT on Ubuntu but now when I compile the UDF, it throws error. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Here is the error:
makefile:121: recipe for target 'Source.o' failed
make[3]: *** [Source.o] Error 1
make[3]: Target 'libudf.so' not remade because of errors.
makefile:211: recipe for target 'lnamd64' failed
make[2]: *** [lnamd64] Error 2
makefile:131: recipe for target 'default' failed
make[1]: *** [default] Error 2
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }

you should prepare make file to compile on Linux
special folder structure is also required

check ansys fluent customization manual, there is a detailed description

Thanks for your reply. I was able to compile the UDF. I had created the specific folder structure from an internet source. But the error due to an unseen comment line.
