Hello, I need to write a UDF for the FLUENT software that varies the viscous resistance depending on the DPM concentration. This UDF needs to trap the particles into the cell, calculate the mass concentration and thus calculate the new viscous resistance coefficient from this. Could someone help me?
The mathematical formulation is: alpha = 1/k + constant*pc; Where alpha is the viscous resistance, k is the initial permeability and pc is the DPM particle concentration. Last edited by AyrtonZotelle; December 17, 2019 at 16:21. |

I think you need DEFINE_DPM_PROPERTY macro to do this.
Good examples you can find in Ansys Fluent Customization manual
