Dear everybody,

Does anyone know how to unhook an udf from a case file please?

The case file was previously hooked with udf by "interpreted udf". Now I don't need the udf but every time I open the case file it interprets the udf, which is time consuming. How can I stop its interpretation?

Can anybody offer some help, please? Thanks a lot!

Regards,
motorbean

I am not quite sure but you might mean unloading udf. try this:
define--user-defined-functions-manage...
and unload the related udf. then you can save cas @ dat and read them without interpreting again.

Thanks a lot for the reply

But I don't find "functions-manage" after typing the "define/user-define"...

To unhook a UDF
1- Go to Define - User define- function - interpret
2- delet the source file Name path

Would like to add 1 more step to make it clear
1- Go to Define - User define- function - interpret
2- delete the source file Name path
3. Interpret again

This was important when I change simulations from Desktop to cluster (parallel)
