Hello
if i do not have experimental data how can i calculate the viscous resistance and inertial resistance parameters that needed for porous media simulation and if the medium was very coarse gravel or boulder is it possible to simulate it as porose zone based on darcy equation with reasonable results? |

Darcy's equation is valid only for laminar flows, i.e., for fine-grained material. If that is the case, then you can use that. Otherwise, use Ergun.

Fluent does not have Ergun inbuilt. You have to use it yourself using DEFINE_SOURCE.
I don't understand what you mean by the first part of your thread.

thanks a lot for you, i meant that (if i do not have experimental data how can i calculate the viscous resistance and inertial resistance parameters that needed for porous media simulation) is there any way to resolve

You need the data, either based on experiments or generated using resolved CFD. Otherwise, use empirical correlations, such as, Ergun.
