WARNING: Invalid cp (0.000000e+00 J/kgK) for water-vapor at temperature -nan(ind) K

above warning is coming whenever i run my simulation, however i used inbuilt properties of water vapor i.e. piecewise-polynomial.

This had happened to me before. How I solve my problem is, I disable some of optional functions on my models (i.e. I was working on PEM model and I disable reaction heating on model settings.) After some iteration, when I activate this function again, it does not give an error.

Therefore I believe it is some kind of divergence error.
Try to disable energy equation, or some part of your models if possible, then reactivate them after some iterations

Dear aring,
i am facing above problem after many iterations. as my problem is transient heat transfer with phase change, this error comes after 150000 iterations.

Hi i am facing the same problem after 3000 iterations. the residuals for all parameters are under 1e-05. Can u plz help me in resolving this issue

Hello, Have u solved your problem?

I am modelling PCM solidification where properties are set by UDF(compiled). My solution give same error if my specific heat defined by UDF and density difened by Boussinesq.
2 case if both given by UDF converge but with some inconsitency in result before phase change starts.

Do someone know solution?
