Hello everyone 🤗
Can you respond me these questions freinds ?

1. Can we set both velocity and pressure conditions at BC?
For example : the inlet .

2. How can we set operating pressure for a liquid flow?
3. What is the difference between :
Reference pressure / operating pressure/ total pressure/
Jauge pressure in fluent?
4.how can we set reference pressure in reference values ?

I have got a false result for a jet into cavity filled usually by air.
I think my BC are false because my confusion about pressure.

Thanks you very much.
Bye

1. For one boundary you can not set both for one inlet. It would be overdetermined.
2. "Setting Up Physics" --> "Operating Conditions" --> "Operating Pressure". This should be the pressure in you cavity. If you have atmospheric presse in your cavity, leave it by default 101325 Pa.
3. Gauge Pressure is difference to the Operating Pressure. Total Pressure = Static + Dynamic pressure and Absolute Pressure = Static + Operatin. For a pipe flow with pressure inlet and pressure outlet. Set pressure outlet to Gauge Pressure = 0 and and the value for pressure inlet to a value greater than 0 (which is the pressure drop of you pipe).
The reference pressure is used only for postprocessing, to compute the pressure-related forces and moments and the pressure coefficient.
