Dear All.
I am simulating steady state solid liquid flow in eccentric horizontal annulus with eulerian grannular multiphase model.
when the volume fraction of solid recieve to packing limit , omega in k-w or ebsilon in k-e model make the solution un stable.
I use no slip wall , free slip wall and specularity coeficient for solid particle on the wall, but my problem didnt solve.
this problem apear when I use gidaspow grannular viscosity.
please help me, I have stuck this problem for three mounth.
drag model: gidaspow
lift model: saffman mai
I use per phase, mixture and dispered phase and test every turbulance model, I chek the grid.
the total length of annulus is 10 m.
inlet volume fraction 1 %.
inlet velocity 1.5 m/s.
inner wall is rotating wall with 60 rpm

Hello Payamsz

There are some pieces of advice in the Ansys advanced course for multiphase flow. Have you checked that to see if your case is ok with the recommended set up? If you want the file please give your email address. I'm working with a flow that I have to use the patch my particles volume fraction.
