I am working on the modeling of two-phase flow through multi-layer of the direct methanol fuel cell anode.
I would like to trace out the co2 bubbles coalescence and breakup, so I would like to know the most appropriate model that could be used to solve this problem in the different layers which include two layers of porous media and another one not porous. unfortunately, the problem should be 3-D. By the way, I already tried different models Transient VOF, but the results were not reasonable Steady VOF, but it did not converged Staedy Mixture model, but it did not work Steady Eulerian model, but it gave an error regarding to the AMG solver and did not work So please it will be very helpful to get any help regarding to the most appropriate model and any recommendations about the fluent solver setup. |

Dear Radwan,
I am Dinesh. I am also working in the area of dmfc. I am facing an issue "segmentation fault". I tried searching for it, most of them mentioned the problem is with the udf. Have you successfully completed the case setup? can you help me out to solve the issue please? I have been trying a lot. Kindly help me to solve. Thank you. |
