Hi guys! im modeling ejector in two phase fluid which primary fluid is Liquid Ammonia and Secondary One is Vapor Ammonia. I defined the boundary condition as Pressure inlet (9Mpa) for primary inlet and also Pressure inlet for Secondary inlet (1.2Mpa) and Pressure outlet as (1.5Mpa) for outlet of the ejector. my problem is when i use constant pressure for secondary inlet which is smaller amount than pressure outlet i face with REVERSE FLOW from outlet to secondary inlet and i got negative mass flow rate in results. please help me if you know the solution my friends!!!!!!!!!!! i got CRAZY of that problem!!!!!!!!

your settings may be corrected to converge the calculation but the reverse flow is more likely to depend on the geometry. Simply put the ejector is not performing
An ejector has to work with the pressure in the lower inlet of the discharge otherwise the ejector serves not

Thank you Mr Marco for your consideration. i was be able to solve the reverse flow problem finally but another problem now is the static pressure go beyond the zero in the after nozzle throat, i tried to different settings like increasing the backflow pressure or changing the inlet pressures but none of them working i use polynomial function coefficients to define the material properties for both of phases

Hamed,
Did you solve your problem?
I have the same problem now.

Hi. I have more or less the same simulation problem too. I did not have that problem. The problem i have is that the solution won't converge nor it diverge. I used simplec coupling. Second order upwing for discretization except volume fraction which is quick. No UDF.
