Good morning, i'm new in fluent and i have spent the past days doing the tutorials (specially the eulerian ones). I would like to do a simulation of walnut shell media being fluidized in order to do further studies of the behavior in a more complex geometry. I saw this video in youtube and is what i want to do. Can you help me on how to create the particles tracking?. Thanks for any help.

Hi,
This is a dem simulation.
There is a tutorial on ansys portal and you can download there all the files.
Pdf is also here:

Hi

is there any one who has command on DDPM simulation of fluidized bed.

I am simulating a 3 phase fluidized bed using DDPM. Particles are injected using group injections. But i didn't get my required static bed height.

Hi ,
sorry i don't have reply for your question
i'm in 2nd year master degree ,the first task that i should make in my final project is to realize a simulation of fluidised bed uses the pomace like particles.if you can give me ideas about the models that i should use in fluent (multiphase flow,viscous...) ,Note that this fluidization is without combustion or chemical reaction.i should determine by this simulation the air velocity and the particle velocity for achieving the best fluidization .
Thanks for any help
