Hi,

I am modelling the jet coming out of a nozzle in the atmosphere.Obviously the proper way to do it is through 3d transient simulation, but due to memory and time reasons, I am going to use a 2d steady solution instead.
Because of the free surface, the vof model will be used.I have some questions regarding it:
1)do I have to model surface tension and gravity as well?
I think tha due to the very large inertial forces(Vjet=40m/s and m=30kg/s)
they can be neglected
2)Is there any reason to use the modHRIC instead of 2nd upwind discretization?
3)Is PRESTO! or body_force weighted most suitable for press-vel coupling?
4)Somewhere in ANSYS doc it says that for steady state vof it is better to use
with Multiphase Coupled instead of segregated solver.Any thoughts?
5)Is SST turb model sufficient?

Thanks for any help, even in short.
