I used mixture-model to view the mixture velocity of water + particle (100 micron). I varied the concentration at 0.1 - 10% (volume fraction 0.00009 - 0.09). Inlet was velocity inlet which had same velocity both water and particle phase.

However, result showed mixture velocity of high concentration was higher low concentration. I reviewed many paper, my result oppose with all paper.

Did I make something wrong, please recommend.

Note: I understand that mixture-model can be used for low volume fraction as my case.

You can see the lower concentration is slower than higher concentration.

How should I do?

Hi

i should have to make simulation that is exactly same. I have a value of the particle concentration. But my other problem i have to add the air phase inlet to my simulation. Because the air turbulence totaly affect the particular phase. If it is possible can you let me what you did in your simulation please.

For me it is better to contact from mail ooguzaydinn@gmail.com

Best regards
