Is there any way to define surface roughness or drag coefficient?

I am building a model to simulate sediment transportation on the marsh platform. So the surface roughness derived from the D50 is too small for the marsh platform. I have noticed that the "surface roughness" for the packed sediment component is inactivated. How can I activate the "surface roughness"?

Any comments or suggestions will be highly appreciated!

Surface roughness is used to describe the surface undulations of a structure. Sediment itself is a wrinkle/ripple with so called D50. You already defined it in physics > sediment properties. That's why surface roughness will be replaced by packed sediment fraction option for components defined as 'Packed Sediment'.

That makes sense! I really appreciate your explanation. In that case, I will change the surface properties for all the packed sediment components. The aim is to model sediment dynamics on the marsh platform. I could not find a way to incorporate unsubmerged vegetation in my model. Do you have any suggestions to change the surface properties of the marsh only?

Surface properties of any object can be changed if you define it as 'solid' rather than 'packed sediment'.
