Hello guys, recently i running a simulation to study the sediment scouring due to propeller jets. The simulation consist of nested block with ratio of 1:4, the total number of mesh cell is around 800k (not fine meshing), sediment of sand with diameter of 0.186mm.
However the simulation runtime is more than 10days. I would like to ask is there any reason why does this happens? how should i shorten the runtime?Thank You |

if you emply a more powerful workstation, such as Dell 7910/7920, the simulation time could be accelerated greatly. |
