Hello guys, I am now trying to establish a fluid model of the molten pool in laser welding. Therefore, I need to add recoiling force on the free surface. VOF method is used to track the free surface in Flow 3D, but I checked all the manual, there is no variable to get the normal vector of the free surface.
Does anyone know how to get the normal vector of the free surface in Flow 3D? Thx in advance. |

I am also looking to find the normal vector to a free surface. Was anyone able to figure out a solution to this?
