hello dear friends
i am new in flow-3d, I'm working on Scour downstream culvert, unfortunately, despite much effort, i am faced with following warning and finally solver be disconnected, if your possible, please guide me, how to solve this problem.
my diameter grain size is 0.001,0.0068,0.0105

*************************************** ** warning **
** sediment grain size is more than **
** 10% of mesh cell size **
** higher ratio of mesh cell size to **
** grain size is recommended

with the best regards

hamid

Hello,
besides the fact that you should give people some moments/days to reply to questions in the forum, I suggest to carefully read the output "error" message. It actually tells you what the problem is: your particles are too big respectively your mesh cells are too small. Change their ratio.

Best regards

hello dear chris
sorry for being impatient, thanks for your response.
your mention is correct, but i cant increasing particle diameter of sediment (it obtained of experimental results) and other hand number of my mesh cells should be large for having good mesh quality, please help me for solving this error.
with the best wishes
hamid

You can decrease the mesh size and simulate again. Also be careful about the condition of problem and its sizes
