Hi,all dears,
I have some questions: 1. I am simulating the flow structure around a vertical cylinder under steady current condition, the velocity of the current is about 3m/s, the height of the vertical cylinder is 14m, the depth of the water is 25m, the diameter fo the cylinder is 3m. The grid I use is fine enough, and I simulate the problem for 60 seconds. However from the streamlines I can see that it looks like a laminar flow more and the turbulence is not intensive. What might be wrong with my simulation? 2. I encounter with some messages given by the solver, but I don't understand where do the errors come from? I will show it below: ============= mentor tip =============== there is no reference pressure available. ======================================== while writing record no. 6710887 ...trying to re-write record word addressable i/o error no. 38 while writing record no. 6710887 ...trying to re-write record word addressable i/o error no. 38 while writing record no. 6710887 ...trying to re-write record word addressable i/o error no. 38 while writing record no. 6710887 k8= 160 k= 160 waout flsgrf error 52 detected errtrp_h |

Usually this error is because the hard drive is full. Check that you have space. Otherwise, it may be related to your specific version, and I would suggest contacting FLOW-3D support directly.
