Hello,
I am trying to run a simulation with a parallel computation. My computer has 4 cores. I open the Task Definition Window and I activate the option parallel computation and when I try to run it, a window appear and is like is going to start but the simulation doesn't start. This windows shows "start_status_ok" but the simulation doesn't run. Can anybody help me?? Thanks in advance |

Hi,
Could i know what version of NUMECA FINE you are using and what type of Windows you have? Before you could do so, you will have to make sure that your license does support for multi-cores up to 4 cores (for your case). Secondly, if the license does meet your requirement, make sure you register the MPIregister.exe and wpiregister.exe (in \bin directory) and key in your username and password that you use to log in the windows. if you do not have one, please create it. Lastly, make sure the smpd.exe is pointed from /bin64. I will encourage you to reach to your local support as the set up may a bit complicated.
