Hi again everybody !
I have a question concerning plotting with Ensight, I know that it's powerfull in ploting variables..., but my question is, can I plot for example the derivative of the velocity with respect to x or y, vs distance?! I have checked users tool, and all I found is how to calculate averages, min, max integrale ...but no derivative.! If not, is it possible to write a python script that could do so! thanks in advance! |

Actually, the derivative functions are actually part of the Query Capability. You can Click on the Query/Plotter Icon at the top row of icons. The Query type is : Operate on Existing Queries. There are options for derivative (and many more) is there.
