t is quite new but SimScale is releasing a new physics that addresses electromagnetic simulations.

The current offering which is in beta (prior to official release) permits simulating problems concerned with Magnetostatic applications.

The plan is to expand the covered physics by adding new solvers to simulate AC magnetics, Transient Magnetics, Electrostatics, AC Electrics, and finally the ability to solve full Maxwell equations in the frequency domain.

There is an ongoing free beta testing program for anyone who would be interested in trying the tool on an actual design use case and providing feedback on its performance and feature set.

I think this is a great opportunity to keep up with industry developments in the field of simulation physics.
