Hello Mohsin,
We have a crevice model you can employ (crevice_flag in inputs.in). To activate the model, go to Application Type > Crank angle-based > Use crevice model. This crevice model is used as an alternative to resolving the actual crevice geometries which can drastically increase computational costs. The crevice model in CONVERGE is based on the model of Namazian and Heywood. Please refer to our manuals for details and how it works. If you want to resolve the crevice, crevice geometry must be included and appropriate cell resolution provided. Sincerely, |
