Hello,
My engine geometry is 60 degree sector and nozzle having 6 holes.I have to insert value of TOTAL INJECTED MASS in kg. So I have to insert full mass or 1/6th of full mass? |

In your simulation will be only one nozzle, right?
So in this case please specify only the mass injected through this nozzle. e.g. 1/6th of full mass. For further help regading sector cases i recommend looking at the example cases. |

Hi Sanket,
I think the following example case could be helpful. (version 2.3) File>Load example case> Engine sector - Non-premixed combustion (SAGE) In the Spray Model panel, Under tab of Time/Temp/Mass/Size, you will need to provide Total injected mass which is the mass for this injector. Note: one injector could have multiple nozzles (or holes) which is defined under the tab of Nozzles. |

Hello sir,
I am confused somewhat. I have sector of 60 degree and injector having 6 holes. Total amount of diesel injection in one cycle is X kg. So in Time/temp/mass/size/Total injected mass box should I enter X kg or X/6 kg of fuel? And i have specified only one nozzle(hole) because 60 degree part have only one hole . Is it right? |

Then X/6 (kg) is the mass you should enter for the Total injected mass. |

Just dont be confused by the output, most (or all?) files will consider the sector and give output for the full geometry then.
Check the Manual for information about sector case output |
