Hello,
Can anyone explain me how to get heat release contribution from diesel in dual fuel simulation. I am using sage solver and my fuel are methane and diesel. Thank you Prabhat |

As soon as the two fuel species dissociates into smaller molecules, it will become difficult to keep track of where the energy is coming from.
It might have been possible if you were using a global reaction (fuel+xO2 -> yCO2 +zH2O) for each fuel. But, these single-step global reactions are not accurate for the thermodynamic conditions seen in the ICEs. |
