Hi,
I would like to visualize the output equation residuals in CFD Post. I checked the relevant Box in CFD Pre. My problem is how to access this variable in CFD Post, because I canīt find it in Variables or anywhere else! Thanks a lot for your support! |

did you finish the run and write a full .res file? in that case, the residuals should appear as variables ("U Mom.Residual" and so on ...)
if you only wrote backups: - automatic backups only write the residuals if they are specified in pre as well (as you did with the normal output residuals). - manual backups ignore all settings and don't write residuals. if you want them to include them here, you'll have to set the expert parameter "output eq residuals = 1" first (can be done during the run) and then do the backup. hope this helps |
