Hi,

Is it possible to plot the high resolution advection scheme blend factor, beta in the equation given in the User Guide?

I cannot find it in the CFD-Post Variable Selector.

Thanks.

Yes, they are the variables like Velocity U.beta.

Thanks Glenn. Is see there's 4 variables (pressure and velocity components). Plots of them did not give me what I expected though.

Likewise, I cannot see a variable for the turbulence intensity. Does one exist? Or must I make a user defined variable? I see what's needed from http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Turbulence_intensity.

Thanks

If you have a turbulence model with turbulence intensity you will have it. No need to define a new variable. Can't remember off the top of my head what its name is, turbulent kinetic energy or something like that I think.

Thanks again, Glenn.

I used the SST model and have made a contour plot of the turbulent kinetic energy (taken from the variable selector), but I'm thinking to include or replace it with a contour plot of turbulence intensity.

Oh, you mean turbulence intensity as a ratio of turbulent energy to bulk flow energy? No, this variable does not exist. It is straight forward to add it as a user variable.
