Hello, as a rookie in CFX, here I would like to ask a few questions. It would be really appreciated if anyone online could do me a favor^_^
Contexts: I initiated my CFX study with the example of air conditioning simulation in ANSYS CFX Tutorials. But ever since the first few steps, problems have been occuring. Below is my quedtion: I have performed the example several times precisely as instructed but finally turned out to be fruitless, that is the running process in CFX solver manager have been aborted. I really want to know why. Please offer me a hand if it is convenient. I am attaching the out file I obtained from the solver manager. Hope it is of any use. Out file: |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Message: | | | | USER ROUTINE: Thermostat Routine could not be loaded. Please chec- | | k the Library Path, Library Name and Calling Name. For FORTRAN us- | | er routines, the Calling Name should be in lower case. | | | | | | | +================================================= ===================+ +================================================= ===================+ | ****** PROBLEM REPORT ****** | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Subsystem: Input | | Subroutine name: ErrAction | | Severity level: Fatal Error | | Error message number: 001100279 | |--------------------------------------------------------------------| | Message: | | | | Stopped in routine UR_REGISTER | | | | | | | | | | | +================================================= ===================+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. You have some user fortran and it not correctly connected to the solver.

As I said, CFX could not connect to your fortran routine. This could be because your routine did not compile, or it could be because your CFX and fortran are not setup correctly. Look at the use fortran section of the CFX documentation for advice.
