Hallo all,
I'm currently trying to make a polyline as intersection between two planes in ANSYS Post. The only method that I found is to intersect a plane with a boundary. Does anyone know how to build the polyline (or similiar) as intersection between two user-planes? e.g. to make a polyline at a given distance in front of a blade at 50% span (intersection with a vertical plane at given distance and a hoizontal plane at 50% blade span). PS: I'm using ANSYS 11.0 Help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance Habib |

Unfortunately, CFX-Post does not allow user to create polyline from the interaction between two planes. The workaround is to put a contour on horizontal plane at 50% blade span. That contour should use axial coordinate as variable with only two levels. Make contour range min or max at where you want to create polyline. Now you can create polyline from contour.

Hi longbow, thank you very much for the solution. I'll try to use the workaround.
