Hi all,
who can tell me the definition of turbulence eddy frequency? It's the ratio of the eddy velocity scale to eddy length scale, is it right? Thanks Michael |

Hi,
Refer to a turbulence modelling textbook (eg Wilcox, Turbulence modelling for CFD) but in short the turbulence eddy frequency is the inverse of the turbulence time scale, or the rotation time for a typical turbulent eddy. Glenn Horrocks |
