I am doing a backward facing-step unteady simulation using CFX. How can I get the spanwise-averaged pressure contour in CFX-Post? Thanks inadavance. Regards, Lan |

Hi Lan, you can simply initilise the domain in turbo mode, selecting the top and bottom walls as casing and hub respectively. You do not need to choose a blade. Then you can use the options in turbo mode. However, you may find that the region close to the step is not distributed as well as the other regions of the turbo mesh.
What do you mean by span? Same direction as the step height, or accross the domain? You can also export the results for each timestep and post process with say Matlab or Tecplot. Cheers Adam |

Thanks,Adam.
My spanwise means the direction across the flow domain. I got your method in CFX-post. And how can I get the spanwise-averaged data in tecplot? Regards, Lan |
