Hi,
I do not have an Ansys Mechanical license, and because my model is a large geometry (a heat exchanger) with many mesh elements, I thought I would simulate the fluid domain and solid domain separately but couple them to see the effect of the fluid domain on the solid. Is there any possibility to couple two CFX models? wishes, |

I do not know why you would want to couple two CFX runs. It is far easier to just run it as one big run with all the coupling handled internally.
The heat transfer in models like this typically is small compared to the fluids model, so the full conjugate heat transfer model is probably only a little bit bigger than the fluids only model anyway.

If you are modeling conjugate heat transfer, there is ABSOLUTELY no need to use System Coupling.
